Hi. We’re just a short time away from the Jewish New Year, and God often reveals things before the Jewish New Year as a revelation of what He’s going to be doing in that year. And what I sense this year is that the Lord is saying, we’re entering into a whole new season.
Now, just imagine for a moment that you’ve only ever experienced winter and spring. If you’ve only ever experienced winter and spring, and then suddenly you experience summer or suddenly you experience autumn, it would take you completely by surprise. It would be a little bit similar to what you’ve experienced before, but it would be very, very different.
And this is what we’re going to be experiencing. We’re going to be experiencing things which are different to how they have been before. There are certain dynamics, certain ways of doing things which we’ve become used to. We’ve become used to what works in the seasons that we’ve been in, but we’re coming into a season which is radically different.
I sense that the Lord is saying that we are coming towards a gate, a huge wooden gate which is opening, and we are going through that gate into this new season. It’s a season which is beyond our experience. It’s beyond our experience, and it’s a season into which our new experiences will come.
These things which the Lord has been speaking to us about, things which the Lord has been promising us for a longer time, we’ve seen a glimmer of it, we’ve seen a glimpse of it, but we’re going to enter into the fullness of the reality of it.
As with every change of season, it’s going to be a battle. Every change of season sees a battle between the seasons. And I sense that the Lord is saying there is a battle which has taken place for this changing season. But it is a battle which we will surely win, and the way in which we are to transition into the new season, the way in which we are to step into it, is through prophetic declaration: seeking the Lord for His promises for the next season, seeking the Lord for His promises and declaring them to be, declaring them to be.
And I sense that the Lord is saying that what is coming in this next season is going to surprise us. It is actually going to surprise us. The Lord has promised many things to us, and we’ve had certain expectations, we’ve had certain understandings of what that can look like. But we are coming into a time when it will be realized.
And how many of us can imagine something, but then when the reality comes it’s different? Many times it’s been something which has been disappointing, or the reality has disappointed us. But this is going to be different. This is going to be where the reality is so much better than what we’ve imagined, that it just puts a smile on our face, it causes us to laugh, it causes us to dance, it causes us to sing.
And what we’re coming into is a season of jubilee, a season of joy and a season of rejoicing, because we are finally entering into a new season, a season where things just start to work in ways which they haven’t before.
I sense that there is an unlocking which is coming, and that we’re going to come into a kind of Kingdom acceleration where things just work much more easily and much more smoothly than they have done before.
We all have the experience of going from maybe a time when we have just been walking to learning to ride a bicycle, and how much quicker and easier it is to ride a bike, or later in life when we learn how to drive a car. And suddenly we have a different level of freedom, we have a different level of possibilities. And that is what is coming to us in the spiritual realm. We’re coming to a new season, a new era, where things are going to happen in a freer way, in an easier way, and we’re going to see significant breakthroughs.
These things which have been going on in the spiritual realm for a longer time, for a longer season, it’s been like a period of preparation. There have been promises which some of us have felt like, “Will they ever come to pass?” But the Lord is saying, “It is the now season. It’s the season where I’m going to bring things into the here and into the now, and you’re going to see the manifestation of the promises that I’ve made.”
So I pray for God’s blessing over you for this new year, and I pray, Lord, that You would release the fullness of this word into being. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.

“The tall buildings are completely flattened. Those who have exalted themselves will be laid low.” The Lord is saying, “Are you willing to be ready?”
One word from God can change your life. That’s why I’ve stepped out in the prophetic. My name is Kevin Bridges, and you’re listening to Daily Prophetic.
This is a prophetic word for October 2018. The Father is saying, “Get ready. Stand ready and stand prepared, for what I am doing in this day and in this time is significant. I repeat, what I am doing in this time and in this season is significant. Get ready and prepare yourselves. Prepare your hearts for what is coming next. A time of transition and a time of change is upon you.
“You are entering into a huge, huge breakthrough, a huge breakthrough that is as instrumental and as significant as the time of the Reformation, a transformation that is monumental.”
The Father is saying, “Get ready. Prepare your hearts, because what is coming next is significant.”
I see, as we enter into October, the scrolls of heaven being opened and things being read out, things being read out in the heavenly court, and assignments being given to the angels, assignments being given to angels to wait for the words that come forth from our mouths as we speak the will of God into being. I see assignments being given to them, assignments of transformation, assignments of change.
I sense that there are things that are coming in this next year that will be monumental in scale. One picture that the Lord gave me recently was of a landscape of many buildings, many buildings where everything is flattened. The tall buildings are completely flattened, but only a few buildings remain standing, and those few buildings are now the tallest buildings in the whole terrain, in the whole area.
And this is a symbolic picture that I sense the Lord has given me, that there is a time coming when leaders who have been prideful will be humbled, when those who have exalted themselves will be laid low, and where those who are humble will be exalted. And they will be exalted not by a raising up so much as by a leveling of that which has been there before.
And the Lord is saying, “Are you willing to be ready to step forward? Are you willing to step forward as leaders, as people who speak My word and My truth into the situations that are abounding?”
And I see a time when people no longer want to lead, when people no longer desire to have that position of authority or influence because of the accusations, because of the problems which it causes. And yet there are men and women of God who God is calling to step up, who God is calling to step forward, to be voices during this time, to be people who will bring change and bring influence to society.
The Father is saying, “Know that I am with you, and know that what is coming is anticipated. What is coming, I know about. And I have been preparing and placing things in place so that as you come into this time and as you come into this season, you will be ready. Know that I am with you, and know that your destiny is in My hands. Know that the destiny of the nations is in My hands, and know that you are entering a significant and key time.”
